Our story
A small company. A big mountain habit.
BluePeak Outdoors started in 2014 in a one-car garage off Mapleton Avenue in Boulder. Mara Whitfield was guiding clients up Longs Peak by week and stitching prototypes by night.
A decade later we're still based in Boulder. Our product team works from a converted brick warehouse three blocks from where we started. Our 6,400-square-foot Denver fulfillment center ships orders within 24 hours. And every piece we sell is field-tested by athletes, guides, and trail crews who actually use it in the conditions it's built for.
We're not the biggest outdoor brand in Colorado. We don't want to be. We want to build the best version of every piece of gear we make and we want to back it for the life of the product. When something breaks, send it back — we'll repair it, replace it, or refund you. That's been the rule since 2014 and it's not going to change.
Sustainability

1% for the Planet
One percent of every sale goes to vetted environmental nonprofits — primarily front-range trail organizations and watershed protection groups.
Lifetime repair guarantee
We employ three full-time gear repair techs in Denver. In 2025 we fixed 4,210 pieces of gear that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill.
Recycled and traceable materials
Every pack body is now 100% recycled ripstop. All down is RDS-certified. We are climate-neutral certified through 2027.
